My journey in self-expression began with modeling and acting in Manhattan as a child, but it was the early loss of one of my primary caregivers that sparked my love for writing as a coping skill. Experiential healing has been the central theme of my life ever since.
After graduating from Villanova University, I moved to Los Angeles as a “starving artist," but my life changed direction when I became a nanny for a little boy with Down Syndrome. This experience shifted my focus from acting to working with others, causing an unavoidable awareness.
In my 20s, I recognized I had a problem with alcohol and made the decision to become sober. This journey deepened my faith in a higher power. Raising four children has further expanded my trust in something greater. I returned to Northwestern University to earn my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am now a licensed therapist working with individuals in private practice. At the same time, I also earned my certification in life coaching where I expand clients into experiential healing.
